And this isnt drawn that bad at all. And even that they´re only a balloons in this... It´s quite touching.
You are more than welcome to add it (and I might have to steal that Icon and use it now).
I don't mean to say it sucks, it's just not what I would have liked it to be.
Actually, I toyed around with the idea of making this a picture comic (like, using real balloons with faces drawn in Sharpy n' stuff) but it would have taken even longer.
I meant it to be touching. And as I'm sure you can tell, the person I did this for (the girlfriend mentioned in the "Al likes to kiss like this" comment) LOVED it.
I noticed that. Heh heh. I have even more icons what i´ve find all around the DA. Once i had way too much free time during works.
My life has its ups and downs. Seems more downs than ups lately. But she's always there and keeping me together, and that's why I love her.
I´m contacting with my bf every day, and as much as it´s possible trough msn.
That's good. Are you ever able to talk on the phone? I know it can be expensive, but do you ever get to hear each other's voice?
Yeah. We´ve talked in phone also. I was nervous as hell and i was stuttering more than usually what i do when i´m talking english.
Then we´ve talked trought the webcam also. He has the cutest voice in the whole wide world. We have sented letters, packages... little gifts and drawings for eachothers occasionally. eample for christmas, birthday, valentines day... etc etc. Sometimes just for fun. ^^
Heh, I know how that can be. It was a while before I could call her without feeling a little (or very) nervous.
By the way, you speak (or at least type) English VERY well.
Oh, that would be better because it wouldn't cost as much. I haven't been able to get the webcam working, but we make a few youtube videos and we can see each other that way.
And we have sent a few things back and forthe too, but not much yet. She mentioned that she had a bad habbit of drawing on everything. Even important bills and homework. So I sent her a big 250 page sketch book, and she loved it. She's also sent me some drawings, which I bought a frame for and hung on my wall.
Wow, you both have been together for a long time. Me and my girlfriend have only been together since April 4th. I wanted to tell her I liked her and I didn't want to do it over the phone, so I made a video.
I just get really inspired from her.
I like this, I really love metaphores especially with drawings!
Love the creative wording too!
And I especially like the fact that you can draw the identical image of the balloon with the exact same expression in a few of the frames. I can NEVER draw the same thing twice no matter how hard I try.
You'd be a great comic artist!
Oh please, the consistancy isn't THAT great, and even then it took a lot of work. Thanks for the kind words thoguh, they're very appreciated.
Heh, the one thing stopping me from doing my own comics is that I haven't the patience that I need to keep drawing. It takes some serious effort to come up with the same sort of thing a lot of people sketch on the back of their math homework.
So I pretty much stick to writing.
But I was really compelled to do this one, and as you can see (in the other comments) she really loved it.
