We're both in bed.
Not the same bed, no, but it still feels special somehow.
Maybe it's because I miss you, maybe it's because I've just been thinking...a lot.
I just wish you were here with me.
Knowing you're out there is nice, but it's just not the same.
I...just want you to know how much I love you.
I know I've told you before, a few times today if I'm not mistaken.
But I feel it especially today, especially now.
And I know it's too late, but I just wanted to give you a kiss goodnight.
I hope you slept well...

Heh, more spontaneous poetry. Seems that's just about all I DO anymore, eh?
Okay, so first of all this shouldn't be interpreted as a sad poem. I can definitely see how it can be seen that way, but it's not.
I should probably mention that this was written at around midnight while I was watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. So that probably had something to do with me putting this out so sudden like....and it will account for the time-specificity of the poem. Yeah, that's a real word.
Take what you will from it, here it is.
